Repair Drywall Ceiling Hole

Make it 2 in 5 1 cm wider and 2 in 5 1 cm taller than the hole in the ceiling so you can cut the hole square to fit the patch. Cut a drywall square that is 2 in 5 1 cm bigger than the hole. Mist water over the surrounding ceiling texture in an area about 24 in.
Measure the hole then cut a scrap piece of drywall that is slightly larger than the hole s diameter. Out from the patch to soften it so you can scrape it off to prep for the taping work photo 3. Use a utility knife to smooth any rough edges of the new square hole.
